RICK FURIOUS aka MR FURIOUS
VSL1200 / Dangerous
Follow on: FACEBOOK and SOUNDCLOUD
Mr. Furious was introduced to drumming at a young age by his father who was an incredible musician. Having played drums nearly all of his life, Rick also experimented with guitars and other instruments before he began experimenting with DJ turntables circa 2003. Inspired by electronic music through working at legendary clubs in Tampa, FL such as Twilight, the Masquerades, and Bahasa, he began to persue the art of being a DJ. At first, he mainly focused on House music, getting a few gigs at Bahasa. He had also been inspired by Drum n Bass, which he had experienced at the Masquerades. However, he did not make a full conversion to it until a year after meeting Christian, who was always preaching the genre and had worked in the field. By 2004, Mr. Furious had joined VSL1200™, becoming the only active member besides Christian, since the destruction of the VESSEL SOUND™ system on January 1st, 2002.

By proving his energy and dedication through working the scene alongside Christian, Mr. Furious has become an integral part of the company. In 2009, he deservingly earned his official title of Vice President of VSL1200™.

DEADPIXEL
Follow on: FACEBOOK and SOUNDCLOUD

As a DJ, much of Deadpixel’s style manifests itself through his precise and particular song selections, and his commitment to presenting those tracks in new and interesting ways. Through liberal use of sampling and looping, Deadpixel manipulates tracks to suit his mixes rather than letting the music dictate his set. As already stated, a hallmark of Deadpixel’s sound is audio mayhem which he achieves through a diverse assortment of stacked on-the-fly effects and automation. But even all of this cannot truly convey the energy of Deadpixel. The consummate performer, Deadpixel offers his own unique brand of charisma when he steps to the stage. No amount of words can express the sensations felt during a Deadpixel performance. The truth is: if you have not seen Deadpixel live, then you JUST DON’T KNOW Deadpixel.
